Facebook champions!

After reading all kinds of enlightened comments on Japan's natural disasters, and nuclear catastrophe, which made me want to become a hermit and never again log into any sort of social network, my facebook persona took over. I felt the urge to superfluously try and avoid public embarrassment of certain individuals on my network by toss a suggestion. (And yes, this blogger is a total facebook-addict.)

My only intention is to give a friendly suggestion, you sound smarter when you don't open your mouth about things that are beyond your understanding... However the following are even more heartbreaking. I'm sharing my post, and some of the best anecdotes some of my friends shared with me.

This was my prepotent-annoying post:

"With all due respect.. I'm tired of pointless political comments, or news commentary from people who don't even know understand what's going on in the world. I know I'm not an expert, therefore I don't post anything beyond my understanding... or my ignorance would be a more obvious public matter, rather than making me sound smart and knowledgeable.
-Bless you all
"

And these are my top two responses:

"I sat on a bus the other day whilst a man explained loudly how japan had been the victim of our tectonic weaponry..."

"I definitely agree. I just left a music store where the owner explained to me how "natural disasters are good because of overpopulation. It helps weed out the weak." Ahhhh, yes, those weaklings who can't outrun a tsunami or repel falling buildings. It's obvious. (what an asshole)"

Enjoy my pointless post.
